Ninios Architects continues to strengthen its international presence in luxury hospitality design, with the Bill & Coo Mykonos project receiving notable editorial recognition. The project’s signature infinity pool was featured in Harper's Bazaar (Greece) as part of the selection “10 of the Most Impressive Pools in the Aegean” (2014), highlighting its distinctive architectural character and experiential quality.

Positioned to fully capture the panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, the pool was designed as a seamless extension of the natural horizon. Its geometry and placement create a visual continuity between water and sea, blurring the boundary between the built environment and the surrounding landscape. The infinity edge enhances this effect, offering an immersive spatial experience where the limits of the pool dissolve into the vastness of the seascape.

The design approach emphasizes simplicity, precision, and material authenticity. Clean lines and carefully proportioned volumes are combined with natural textures and a restrained palette, allowing light and reflection to become integral components of the composition. Throughout the day, the surface of the water transforms, mirroring the sky, intensifying the Aegean blue, and reinforcing the sensory connection between architecture and nature.

Beyond its visual impact, the pool plays a central role in the overall spatial narrative of the resort. It acts as both a focal point and a transitional element, organizing movement, framing views, and enhancing the sense of privacy and exclusivity that defines the guest experience. The surrounding terraces and relaxation areas are carefully orchestrated to maintain unobstructed sightlines, ensuring that the relationship between user, water, and landscape remains uninterrupted.

Rooted in a contemporary interpretation of Cycladic minimalism, the project reflects Ninios Architects’ commitment to creating timeless, place-sensitive environments. The recognition by Harper's Bazaar underscores the studio’s ability to design spaces that resonate beyond their immediate context, combining architectural clarity with a strong experiential identity.

At Bill & Coo Mykonos, the architecture frames uninterrupted views toward the iconic windmills and Chora, where Cycladic forms, soft volumes, and a refined material palette engage in a subtle dialogue with the Aegean landscape.
